Insect screen for Suburban 12 gal. water heater
I am looking for an insect screen for my Suburban 12 gallon hot water heater. I have done some internet searches and the Camco Model #42150 keeps popping up for 6, 10, and 12 gallon units. Does anyone know if this is the correct screen for my water heater?

Are you talking about a screen for the outside vent?cover? I took a piece of old screen material and hot glued it to the inside of the cover.

Just measure the outside louvered area, the screens are just held on by springs hooked to the mesh. Get Stainless screens.
Try this: http://tinyurl.com/SSScreens

I know from personal experience that one size does not fit all. I have looked around and have not found a screen large enough...of course, I have not devoted much time to the search.

I put screens on the louvers outside my refer, the heater exhaust, and the water heater louvers. I got mine at Tiara RV in Elkhard when I got my Monty. The dealer there showed me the correct sizes to use.
Your dealer, or any nearby Montana dealer, can show you which ones to get. I got tired of the dirt dobbers (sp?) nesting in my coach; so, the few dollars I spent were well worth it.

I ended up buying two screens: the CAMCO 42150 fits the louvered vents on the 12 gallon Suburban water heater and the CAMCO 42146 for the water heater exhaust vent. The #42146 is listed for 10 gallon Suburban water heaters, but it fits the 12 gallon unit as well with no issue.

Thanks for the info...the largest screen stocked by our local CW is too small...will have to give the CAMCO item a try.
