Lubricating Landing Legs

My LG sounded rough. Thanks to your post, I lubed the hell out of it. Problem solved. My unit was new at the time. This is something all of us should be checking on our old or NEW units.

About 3 weeks ago I popped the tops and applied some lube. I have not yet seen any lube appear out the bottom or on the legs so hopefully I used enough. I put in quite a bit.

I checked, and our 2011 has grease fitting that do point forward, However, there is plenty of room to fit a flex hose on a grease gun to them. They are positioned where the gears are located, so if I pump a lot of grease into the fittings it should do the job. Cheers, Dixiedawg
