Backing on living room cabinet doors

We have a 2008 3400RL. All the doors in the living room area have a plastic insert (supposed to look like glass). On the back of these doors there is a plastic backing is probably put on with some kind of adhesive and all around the frame it is siliconed. The problem is this last weekend we noticed that there were air bubbles on all the door inserts in various areas ranging anywhere from one to three inches. All start at the edge of the frame. Has anyone else had this problem and what was the remedy. Dealer says no problem but I don't know if I have much confidence in them doing a clean job reinstalling the silicone.

I've followed the many topics on this and have a question. Since it doesn't show on the outside (from the front of the cabinet) what difference does it make? Our Big Sky is doing this also and I presume the plastic "contact paper" liner is a safety issue in case the pretty insert should break. Since the bubbles will in no way affect the safety issue and they don't show on the outside, what are they hurting? Most of the bubbles seem to be originating where the "nails/brads" hold the decorative panel in place so we think it is just where the plastic liner can't get a grip on the decorative panel. We decided to just ignore ours and leave them in place for the safety factor. Sue and Verle C

Just as an extra bit of information, there is a tag/sticker inside these cabinets on the plastic liner that reads: "SAFETY BACKED GLASS ANSI Z9711984 DO NOT REMOVE". So apparently these are glass and the sticky back plastic liner is a safety device in case of breakage. If you stick the bubbles with a pin and smooth them down it works just like contact paper bubbles. Sue and Verle C

We had the problem of the backing bubbling up on our new Big Sky. Instead of fixing it, the dealer took the backing out per the direction from Keystone even though the technician at the dealer warned everyone that this was safety backing. If I'd known that that was how they were going to address the problem, I would have left the bubbled backing in. Color me annoyed with Keystone on this one!!!!
