Maintenance Schedule

We are about to hit our 1 yr anniversary in our 2007 3400RL. This group has been great about posting setup and takedown checklists that really come in handy and prevent a lot of problems. Has anyone come up with a maintenance schedule for the rig, e.g. check the water heater anode at a certain interval, etc.? Thanks for any advice.

I would also be interested in a maintenance checklist. I think richfaa (?) once said he had one. Maybe if that is so he would be kind enough to post it or make it available via e-mail.

The Aug. 07 Trailer Life had an article in it titled "THE DIRTY DOZEN" on the commonly overlooked maintenance items. They were:

1. Batteries, 2. Water heater anode rods, 3. Refrigerator service, 4. LP-Gas system check, 5. Air Conditioner check, 6. Wheel Bearings repacked, 7. Roof Inspection, 8. Generator check (if you have one), 9. TV Transmission & Differential flush, 10. TV & 5er Break service/adjustment, 11. Trailer suspension check, and 12. Tire check (pressure, tread, date - replace if older than 5 years.

I am going to use it to develop a checklist for our rig.

I went through all the manuals and made a check list according to their recommendations on appliances, etc. Also added what I read on MOC. Now I just have to remember to read it and do it!!!! Especially about checking the battery at least once a month. We have needed to add distilled water every time.
