Draining Fresh water tank

Other than running the pump is there a manual way to drain the fresh water tank?
Thanks for your help
Eddie. (EJC )

Under the rear of your fiver is a drain line coming from the bottom of your fresh water tank. Just remove the end cap and let it drain unless your model has a manual valve on the hose end.

In the bay where you connect your fresh water cable tv is located one red plastic hose and one blue each with a shut off valve but both seem to be higher than the tanks? Is this what you are calling hose end?

The red and blue lines in the convenience center are the low point drains from the plumbing in the RV. The fresh water drain is a single, usually white, PEX line at the rear of the RV, hanging down through the coroplast bottom. You will have to get down of your hands and knees to see it.

It's usually right below your fresh tank vent and under the rig about a foot. Has a twist off cap on the end.

One of the things you can do for convenience is get a pvc ball valve and put it in place of the cap, on mine it makes it much easier to drain than having to get under the unit and trying to thread the cap on.
