Forgot about the new stuff

This tends to happen in stick homes also, you continually make improvements that up the value of the house and forget (or are afraid to find out the cost) to increase your insurance coverage to cover you in a total loss. Since we just added solar it occurred to me that while we had replacement coverage it was for our base rig, not for a rig with level-up, IS and disk brakes and solar. So I got on the phone with Blue Sky and it turns out it's wasn't that painful. Just upped it $60 per year.

Good move Dick. We tend to overlook that stuff.

Sooooo, has anyone figured out what percentage of a bath we take if the rig is totaled?

It depends on what kind of coverage you opted for. Some companies will replace about everything if there is a total loss, but you are going to pay more. With a new rig and numerous add-on options I don't mind paying higher costs every year. I might rethink that in 4 or 5 years.

We have full replacement coverage so we will get a new rig including the add-ons , but the coverage is more expensive.
