Extended Warranties

After reading several recent blogs, I wonder is there a good warranty company out there ? I believe we have xtra ride, however some of the paperwork says PROTECTIVE ASSETT PROTECTION

I also wonder about mine, but next time I'll probably go with Good Sam just so I've got someone else between me and them. Still no guarantee, however.

Extended warranties like all insurance policies are purchased through a broker, your local agent or dealer. Most are backed by large financial institutions, banks, Do some homework. Here is who protective asset protection is.

We personally have the U.S. Warranty Corporation ESP. We've had them since buying our first Montana in 2008. At this point, everything I have to say is GOOD. They've been very helpful. Even in the case of buying two other new Montana's in the last 5 years, each time they've allowed me to transfer the coverage to the new unit, even though they say that isn't normal procedure. The same person is the one I've talked to, from the very beginning, even 5 years later. That alone is unusual. I've only had one claim so far, and it was minor. But it was taken care of quickly, and they even give a senior citizen discount on the deductible (not that any of YOU would need the senior part)! So, at this point I personally will recommend them for anyone else. Their web is www.uswceagle.com

Would not hook up and move without a good Extended warranty. Had RV shield on the 06 3400 and have Good Sam on the 2013 3402. Got several times my money back on the 06 3400 and will be using the G.S warranty on my 2013 3402 after 17 months of travel.

A good deal for those that need to file a claim. An unnecessary expense for those who don't. Like any other insurance, it's a gamble. How lucky do you feel??

Five tanks on the 06 3400 got me triple my money back alone.

I just got an online GS quote for the 2014-3610, $200 deductible 6 years for $3.558. This is really 5 years after the Keystone warranty expires, sound about right?

I made them start my 6 year warranty AFTER the 1 Year Keystone one Ends and I paid $2,195.oo with a 50.00 deduct from my Montana dealer when I bought it the Company they used is AG Warranty (USA Travel care) Do Not fall for that little trick they use it is not a 6 year if it starts the same day as the 1 year Mfg Warranty you are getting cheated out of 1 year of the Extended Warranty.

For us I asked myself the question...how likely will it be after reading this and other forums, that we will not have a major failure being a long timer and a high end user. To me a major failure is one that would cost me 1K or more.. The answer to myself was...not likely. we purchased one on the 06 3400 and used it. We purchased one on this 13 big sky and will be replacing two holding tanks for starters.
