Fan saved the evening!

I know this is not news! This weekend I took a "large portable fan" from my garage camping. We been to this location several times in the past. Bugs, bee's and flying blood harvesters ruined our evenings. I placed the fan near the serving table (on med/low) and after dinner, around group while chatting. Bugs left us alone! After reading a science article about ineffective deterrents like candles etc, I figure let's try! It caused just enough breeze to inhibit flying insects. Plus since it was 95 degrees at night it was a welcome addition!

Ever try this trick?
