Water coming in throug return air vent

I have a 2017 HC 352 RL. While at home loading the camper I noticed water coming in through the return air vent. It was raining. I’ve had the camper in the rain before and never had this happen before. The camper was not level and was slopes towards the vent that was leaking. I was wondering if that had anything to do with it? Also it seemed to come all at once then stop. Strange. Hoping someone can help me. Also the air was not running at the time.

It’s the blizzard with the heat pump option

Could it be that the factory did not compress the foam gaskets enough on install? Had this happen to my diesel pusher where it was lack of foam compression due to years of service.

Maybe. Like I said it was strange as I’ve had it in rain before with no issues. Also was strange as it came out steady for a couple minutes then seemed to stop. Was running right out of return air grill.

I asked because there have been issues with the Blizzard cover leaking, due to existing holes not used, two piece cover etc. If you do a search you will find several postings of folks with rain leakage, and the fixes to include caulking of certain holes. I did not pay close attention since I have the Brisk Airs, but multiple postings on this forum about the Blizzard issues during rain. Not saying it is the problem for you, but a starting point for sure.

I had the same issue with my whisper quiet A/C, I ended up putting gorilla tape around my A/C Shroud where the top and bottom meet and this fixed my problem.
