OKC RV PARK
Has anyone used any of the Oklahoma City RV Parks along I-35? I drove through one tonight at NE 122nd & I-35 and there were 4 Montanas in there. I have been thinking of staying in this park for a couple of months but thought I would check with others first.
Thanks
Phil

We were in OKC in October. We stayed at Rockwell RV Park just off I-40. We were visiting with friends in OKC so did not spend a great deal of time in the park, but we found it fine for what we wanted. They do advertise WiFi, but is only available at certain sites and in the office. We chose this park because of location and Trailer Life ratings.

Phil, we always stay in Guthrie at Pioneer, just North of OKC, it's the first exit, then off to the East 1/2 mile. There's a Shell station at the exit. Free WI-fi, and cheap rates.

Thanks Guys!
0zz...that is exactly the area I was looking for. I have been thinking about moving up to Guthrie but don't want to commit just yet. This will be my test run.

Cedar Valley RV Resort in Guthrie is also an excellent park, although there is very little shade. There was no wi-fi as of a year and a half ago.

Phil, that park is nice, not fancy, but nice. The owner has a Montana. The park is for sale also.

We stayed at the KOA near Tinkler AFB. I would go there again.

Anyone else stay at the KOA? Actually traveling on business there and its cheaper to take the RV than stay at a hotel for the week!!! Never thought I'd be wearing a coat and tie in my RV

We've overnighted twice at Rockwell, the one JoyceH mentioned. They take Passport America. We're watching this thread as this coming winter we'll beeline to OKC to get as far south as possible on the first day. We'll head into Texas to visit friends before heading to AZ so Rockwell is out of our way.

We also stayed at the Rockwell off of I-40 in January. It was OK, and convenient. A plus is that Camping World is just over the freeway!
BTW, the wifi was iffy then too...typical.

OKC has a new RV park this year. Twin Fountains RV Park which is located between I35 and I44. The WiFi works great. All sites are paved with most pull throughs. It is also close to the OKC Zoo and the Western Heritage and Cowboy Hall of Fame. This is definitely the nicest RV park in OKC (only my opinion). They have a nice website.

YOu best read your information packet on your Montana. On page 34, section 3b, paragraph 3, it clearly states the following:
"wearing of any business attire, while using a Montana, voids all fun and the object of purchase".
