Washer/Dryer
Newbie - HC 305RL - what are the thoughts on Washer/Dryers? The 305RL is set up to take one on each side of the front closet.
Is there a brand preference?
Any Negative feedback?

Our Splendide has been very reliable over six years of full timing. If I was to get a washer/dryer set I'd get Splendide again.

Splendide combo, the VENTED model here. Would buy another in a heartbeat.

My Montana is set up the same. Washer on door side, dryer on street side. Never ever get an unvented dryer for many reasons. We will never have a combo again. Actually, used the laundry at campgrounds instead. Combo loads are small and average over 2 hours to wash/dry. A weeks worth of laundry can be done in that amount of time with multiple machines. With separate machines in the Montana washing in one machine while drying in the other makes multiple larger loads possible. A combo will be a couple hundred dollars less bu still not worth it to us.

I don't think there is any specific predefined location for any of them. Just have to make sure to locate it to avoid wall studs, avoid wiring, and provide a good clean route for the vent hose to go from the dryer exhaust vent to the wall vent. By clean I mean nothing that would kink or compress the vent hose.
