I have a Superglide auto slide.. I lift it out with a cheap electric winch hanging from beam in garage.

the electric winch seems like a little much for me.
Im going to go with the Pullrite, just going to have to suck it up when I want to remove it.

Talk to the wife about it, she brought up the fact that I have hit 2 trucks that I have owned towing the camper. Not because I turned to tight, because I thought I was good, and didn't get out to slide the hitch, and ,well, I wasn't good.

Has anyone purchased the MOPAR 25,000 pound 5th wheel hitch before? I bought a new RAM 3500 dually and RAM sells the MOPAR hitch, and they say it is made by Reese? Anyone know if this is a good hitch, or should I just get the BW hitch? If it is a good hitch compared to the BW, I like the look of the MOPAR on the hitch facing the back of the truck.

First since I own several MOPAR products, it's mainly licensing arrangement and you will pay for that name. Go with any hitch you like. Go check them out. We love Curt but the B&W and others owners will like there hitches. Go see them operate and buy one big enough for your needs.

I thought I just read that Curt is made in China? I will pay a few hundred more to buy one made in the USA? I was leaning towards buying the Curt myself, until I saw that they were not made in the USA?

No they are made in US. They design and manufacture in America. Great company worked with them for years!

Reese hitches, A Cequent company, moved their towing and hitch manufacturing business to Reynosa, Mexico several years ago. Add to that, many of their components are made in China. I can't answer if that makes them bad, but I can do my part by buying Made in America.

It's nearly impossible to buy only American products, but I still try!

We also just acquired a new Ram 3500 with the Mopar 20K hitch. Ours, at least, is a Curt. Dont know it they also use Reese hitches or not but having previously had a Reese fail, I much prefer the Curt.

It's interesting, I contacted MOPAR, and they would not tell me the manufacturer of their 25k 5th hitch, or if it was made in the USA?

OK, just found out that the 25k 5th wheel hitch that is sold by MOPAR, is distributed by Reese, but made in China! I'm going to buy a B&W 25K Companion. It says right on it "Made in America"
