Singing Hot water Heater
My hot water heater on V sings when heating the water.
don.t remember it serenading me before i changed out the anode plug ( old one just a wire )

What tune did it play?
Mine started that this weekend, looks like its time to change the anode. Big socket, extension, rain parka, and 6' breaker bar ought to do it.

Just finished flushing ours and installing new anode rod about an hour ago. Rod was still in pretty good shape but installed new one anyway.

but real question is am i looking at an heater element dying a sloe noisy death?

Probably not. Home water heaters do that also as lime builds up on the element. Most last for years and usually the water heater isn't close enough to your regular living space for you to notice.

Maybe, at something like the circling of the Montana's someone could mix the sounds and we'd have a musical production.
