We purchased our S&B in 1989 at a good price. Even though our home devalued during the economic turn down it has gained back some of its value and is still worth 2/1/2 times more than we paid for it in 1989. We have a large equity in the S&B. It is a large home and we will have to downsize in the near future.
We chose not to go full time after a lot of thought and after 6 years that has worked well for us. We like the Northern Ohio area execpt for the winter but the Montana is our magic carpet to warmer areas.

We saw too many of our friends go full time then after 3 or 5 years come back and start over again IMO the finianical ability to full time an have a good exit plan is critical. IMO Dave(montana sky) is doing it at the right time in life and he has a plan. Good luck Dave.
