Summer

This part of Texas set a new record yesterday, breaking a record that dates back to 1925. Over 70 days of triple digit temperatures, wish we hadn't done that. Looks like more of the hot stuff on the way, on up to 107 and 108 predicted. Rain would be nice. We have some young children that won't know what rain is.

You must be out in the west central area of TX. ONLY 60 days over 100 here 30 miles north of Dallas, and counting. But many of those over 105! Almost every day since mid June has been 98 or higher. To make it worse, the morning lows only drop as low as 82 to 85.
A few teaser showers around yesterday, but none over our head. No rain since June, and only one that month.
Ready for this summer to end.

We got lucky today, had some little showers, cloudy all day, don't think it will make 100 deg. So far today I've only seen 80 deg. Just great for a change. I'm east of Austin about an hour drive. Ya'lls weather up there is also tough, some times worse than here.
