TV hook up

I have two issues that I can't figure out how to resolve.

1. I am hooked up to my dish and can get the signal from the receiver to the TV using a HMD1 cable, but not using the coax. What am I missing? I can get the dish screen through to the TV, but nothing else.

2. I want to put in a switch once I get this all figured out so I can switch from antenna/cable to dish without unhooking and changing coax hook ups.

Thanks for any help on either of these issues.

Don

I believe the solution is in the source button on your remote. I can have the satellite (HDMI), antenna and/or cable (coax) hooked up to the tv at the same time and change the input signal by changing the source from HDMI to TV using the menu that pops up when source is hit on the remote. If your remote does not have a source button, you will have to use the menu function and go to where the source can be changed.

This drawing may help you.
At least you can give us some reference how you are hooked up so we can give you suggestions.

John,
I have a drawing similar to this one that doesn't show the convenience center. My coach has three places to plug coax into. One is a double plug marked cable/satellite and the other is unmarked. Are you saying that each of the connections on the double plug goes to and individual TV?
