Lippert Warranty
Lippert's warranty is no longer two years; it is now 1 year from the date of purchase according to an email I received today.
Me thinks we are getting...

I already got "it"... on my used 2002 unit when those stupid tabs snapped and front shifted downward.

Is this frame warranty, slide out warranty, all Lippert components?? I am going to have to research this more extensively with the new rig purchase.

Michael and Kat,
That's terrible! Lippert is definitely going the wrong direction. I hope this is not a trend.
Thanks for sharing.

If you or I have written documentation (owner's manuals) that specifically state a warranty term of two years, then Lippert cannot legally come back later and change the terms of the warranty. They can however, change the warranty terms on new products going forward. If I had an issue, and had written documentation of a warranty term that was still in effect, I believe I would start with a certified letter that includes a copy of the warranty and documentation of the purchase date. I really do not think Lippert or any manufacturer would come back and state that the warranty has been changed. Thoughts???

Are you sure that was on the frame and not their axles. The axle warranty went from 2 years to 1 year some time ago?????

I think you're correct. However, they can try anything. Most folks won't pursue the issue with litigation.

Spoke with a Keystone CSR today who is helping me with some of our issues and this person also thought the frame warranty was still two years.
Also, our documentation for the slide mechanisms indicates a warranty longer than 1 year, so need to do some digging.

I was under the impression that the frame warranty is two years, as it was on our previous Montana 5th wheel. Has the warranty period changed?

I haven't dug out our manual in quite awhile but I could have sworn the Lippert frame warranty was 5 years on our 2007 model. Apparently that's incorrect?
