water pressure regulator failed

My Marshall brand brass water pressure regulator failed after little use. I have had that pressure regulator for a while but have only used it several times. I know the Camco brand (Walmart) style water pressure reducers are in expensive, but also break.

My trailers have been parked at my deer lease where water pressure was not a problem.
I read where a filter will reduce the water pressure some, so I will try that as well. I always had a filter before.

What brand of water pressure/reducer regulator is dependable ?

I am using an adjustable regulator. It has a gauge and a screw in the top to adjust the amount of pressure. However, It is dark outside, it will be tomorrow before I give you the name of the product. If I remember correctly it was about $30.

I have a regulator like Stiles describes and they are very good. Mine has about 5 years use with no problems. The good thing is you can adjust the pressure very easily and it will stay there. The gauge is a real help also. It looks like a smaller version of a home water regulator.

Here's my set up----

Have been using it for over 3 years. Totally adjustable and, if need be, can be serviced very easily.
You can buy everything you need at Home Depot or Lowes. Total cost around 50 to 60 bucks.

The regulator comes with pipe threads so be sure to buy the garden hose adapters.
The gages are optional but I like to see just what kind of pressure is at the faucet and what pressure is coming out of the regulator.
I keep the regulator set at 60 PSI. If the campground faucet pressure is 60 PSI or lower I don't use the regulator.
