My concern would be installing on the front, my clearance to the ground is already tight.

I use treated 2 x 10 x 12" treated boards. My favorite campground requires wood and I soon discovered it seems to make the Monty more stable especially on blacktop. I use them all the time and only takes a minute to set up not to mention they are much cheaper and last a long time. Lowes will no longer cut treated wood for you but Home Depot will cut them for you when you purchase a board from them.

yep no way Jose! like 1retired06 says also I have been burned a couple of times when using yellow plastic ones up front when auto leveling the front will not go low enough and it just stalls then an error comes up then I have to hook the rig up and take them out , MAYBEE on the middle and back one's but seems like a waste of money the plastic blocks work fine

I purchased a set for our 3160, which has the 6 point LevelUp. The reason I bought them is for the added 1" of height in an attempt to avoid running out of stroke when leveling side to side and to add some additional area to the leveler feet which will reduce the psi loading and help on softer soil.

All things considered, I don't think they are in the "must have" category, but are convenient (they also look neat and is one less thing I have to remember to pick up when we leave ).

I think there will be a lot of opinions on this one. They are neat, but if you're on a budget, there are other things in that price range that will provide more value, like an ARP refrigerator protector or some LED bulbs.

Use 2x12x18" pressure treated under all 6 pads always! I make a call on if I need to stack them higher under any pad before I put jacks down. Carry them in the bed of the pickup. John

Dave- did you get the snap-on pads or the ones that have the metal pad built into them and you take the original pad or feet off first? I'm just wondering if they hold water when it rains and also if you are worried about them falling off while going down the road?

Hey Ron!

I bought the ones from SnapPad that "snap" on to the existing LevelUp feet already on the rig. I have no concerns about them coming off, they go on quit tight. I have 1500 mile with them on the 5er now and no problems. I did drill a 1/4" drain hole at the edge of them just above where the metal plate snaps in, but it's really not a big deal.

Are they worth the $120 I paid, maybe so, but I like them and they are convenient, so yeah, I'm ok with the cost. But like I said, spend this money after you have bought a TPMS, a Progressive EMS, and an ARP frig protector. I think you have all of these, so the SnapPads should be you next purchase! (IF the steps are fixed ).

Spoke with the SnapPad people today about added height and was told that they add 1 1/8", and some have drilled a hole on the pads to allow water to drain.

I think this is a solution without a problem!
2x6s work fine.
