5th Wheel Hitch with new Ram 4x4

Hey guys....I just brought home my new 2015 Ram 3500 4x4 SRW and I'm a bit concerned about the bed rail clearance on my truck! I've got the MopR "window frame" and hitch head that fit the 5th wheel conversion kit. Any ideas when I start playing with it in the morning.....I did have. 2006 Ram 3500 4x4 DRW. Than,s for the help.

I just purchased the same truck 2 months ago. I bought a new B&W RVK3600 25K hitch http://www.etrailer.com/Fifth-Wheel/...BWRVK3600.html that uses the puck system directly with no need for a "picture frame" configuration. It's clean and easy.
No bed rail clearance issues (I have a minimum of 6 inches clearance) and it rides level. Best hitch I ever had.

I just pulled my 5'er out of storage with my new 2015 Ram 2500 short bed. I have the Curt 20K model 16045 ( http://www.curtmfg.com/part/16045 ) that attaches to the factory pucks. I tested the turning clearance in the parking lot before leaving. I had more angle than I would care to ever try and it was clearing the cab. I also have a pretty steep incline where I turn for my driveway and the bed rails cleared very nicely. On the flat and level I have almost 6" of clearance from the top of the bed rails to the underside of the nose. I have the hitch head set in the lowest possible adjustment holes for the height. Since you have a 4X4 you will probably need your height set in a similar fashion. My 2WD sits pretty darn high but with the head in the lowest height setting my Monty is sitting very level. In fact the bubble is just touching the front line on my level gauge stuck near the nose.

Thanks for the responses.....I moved the Ram Head into the middle holes and all looks great with about 6 inches of clearance.....next step will be to get the gain set properly on the Ram brake controller tomorrow
