Mor Ryde Pin box cover

Has anyone found a cover for the Mor Ryde pin box, water gets trapped in the bottom and thought a canvas like cover would help. Thanks

I've not seen a manufacturerd cover ... are you talking about the water that sits on the movable shoe that the hitch pin is actually welded to? It evaporates on ours by the next day after a rain. I'd propose finding someone with a heavy duty sewing machine and have them make you one.

Yep, that bottom plate. Ours evaporates as well but have that brown residue that gets left behind, rust a assume.

yep we hang out at the Ocean a lot and all the salt air and rain makes rust on the bottom plate quick so I started spraying WD-40 on the bottom plate to keep it at bay, when I had my Old 2004 Big Sky it came with a cover I thought was for the Pin Box and it fit almost perfect, then someone at the resort one day said Hey nice use for a Hitch cover.....OOPPSSS whatever works So anyway I was going to buy another 5th wheel hitch cover from Amazon because they fit pretty well on the pin box I am tired of putting WD-40 on my plate and top of the box to keep away rust

Send a message via Yahoo to NCFischers
Try a marine sail and canvas maker.

The country boy in me would tell you to get an old inner tube, cut it so that you can cover the gap all around and fix it in place. Even will move with the plate. John
