Glides for drawer under sofa/bed
Anyone find a suitable replacement for the glides Keystone used on the drawer under the sofa/bed?

Did you try Lowes or Home Depot?

If I recall, there have been several threads on this subject. Go to the Search engine and key in drawer slides or sofa drawers. I think thats where they will be! I'll check and let you know for sure!
OK, I'm back and did a search on "sofa" and came up with one from Exnavydiver on October 1, 2009, titled "Just Escaped from Camp Keystone" or something like that! It explains the situation and etc. Dave had his fixed at Goshen/Elkhart!

I went to a furniture repair company. I talked to the manager. He showed me what I had in the couch and then showed me two heavier duty glides. The difference was weight rating. I bought the next higher weight rated glides and installed them myself. We have not had a problem since. The OEM glides were just not heavy enough for the service we needed.
Lets put blame where it belongs. Keystone did not manufacture these couches. Perhaps Keystone might have chosen a more expensive couch, but the vendor chose the glides. I am certainly not opposed to holding Keystone responsible for their manufacturing flaws.

I'm with Stiles. If Keystone 'fixed' all the items we bitc.... er I mean complain about, these trailers would cost $10,000 more.

Still, my drawer broke in forst year. Thought warranty would cover it so let dealer fix it with other warranty items. Well not a warranty item so it cost me $150! Dealer said a lot of Montana's come back for this very reason. Sounds like Montana owes us a little something.

When looking at the then "new" sofa at a Rv show I pulled the drawer out by its roots when trying to open it .I had a factory order for one when we first saw it at the fall rally. We canceled.

We have had no problems with the drawer in our couch. It seems to come in and out smoothly and without much effort. I did notice that it will slide out about a foot when traveling but I'm think a little rubber doorstop would keep that from happening.
