Ceiling light switch (12v) failing

Well, I must have too much time on my hands, but decided to change out the switches on the hall panel.

The ceiling light switch (12v), when turned on after having been off for a while would hesitate momentarily before completing the circuit. This is indicative of a failing switch.

So, I went to the local auto parts store (Checker, in this case) and purchased 3 new switches - each has a different color LED as an "On" indicator.

For "Earth", I tapped into the black wire that goes into a 3-wire connector and then onto the Fantastic Fan.

If anyone wants them, I have two of the old switches in my pocket that are good.

Looks Nice! You will appreciate having those indicator lights for the porch and scare lights.

Thanks - now, if I could only find where passenger and driver side scare lights are spliced so I can have independent control of each light.

Nice job, I wired in separate lights for my switches, I like your idea better. When mine fail, I'll do the same. I used the same switch on my furnace fan on-off switch, they are good ones.

Michael, once again you did a nice job. One more thing to add to my growing list.

I used these switches:

http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductD...goryCode=3063B

They are not quite the same size as the rectangular holes in the Montana plate, but I moved them up in the hole and used black tape fom the back side on the bottom - you cannot see any gaps or irregularities.
