Printer slide-out shelf

When I replaced my television with a flat screen tv, I noticed all the wasted space behind it. I removed wall lamp and cut and opening for the shelf. Measured out the maximum opening available, built a box and secured it while the tv was out. My printer was the right size for the opening, so I built a slide-out shelf to use when printing. My printer died and I put DVD's there for now, lol. The shelf has a hole for the red nail to keep the shelf from sliding when traveling. Love it.

Great idea and use of dead space.

Looks great! I installed a drawer under our table that really helped us -- place for pens, paper, etc.--just like any other drawer in a desk at home.
