Bubble levelers -- where did you mount yours?

I just got some of those graduated levels and just wondering where you mounted them on your 5th wheel?

Don’t even bother. I let the leveling jacks with auto level figure it out.

No auto level then I would assume front and side to ensure front to back being level and on side to side.

Before level-up I used a leveling app on my i-pad.

Dave - I always placed the level gauges close to the leveling switch so I could see them with my finger still on the switch. That way I never had to stop and walk around to see if level or not.

If your rig is like our old one, you'll find that it's not level on the inside. Once I found a place where the wife was happy that's where I used to confirm it was good.

I have one just under the Level up panel along a Trim, then one on the front above the storage door trim. I have the Level Up system but auto level takes much longer than manual, most sites i camp at are already level, so its basically just running them down.

We always keep the left side a little higher than level, better to sleep with my head raised a bit, keeps my snoring at bay

I carry a 4 foot level in the storage compartment. Way more accurate than a small bubble level. If I had the automatic system than I would let the system do it's thing.

I made sure the unit was level (measured inside with a carpenter level) then mounted one of these across the hitch. That way I can see it from inside the truck for side to side. Then after I disconnect, it has a front to back level that I can adjust too.

So, maybe when I'm installing the bubble levelers, I should put my 4' level on the floor in front of the kitchen counter and use that setting to place the bubble levelers.

Thats a good start...also make sure your doors close correctly in that position too. I have seen where Ive gotten the counters and stove level, but the bathroom door and sometimes bedroom closet doors wouldn't close or stay closed. Check entry door and any others you use frequently.

Get the unit level using a 4-6 foot level on the kitchen floor, front to back and side to side. Mount a graduated level on the side near your level up control. Mount the other on the drivers side front just inside the molding that goes down towards the ground. FYI the sticky tape that comes on them is NOT good enough to keep them in place. You either have to replace it with 3M automotive emblem tape and or screw them into place with small stainless screws. IMHO leveling with a 4 foot level every time is just a PITA process you don't have to go through. I can level mine faster than the auto level can.

Wow you guys do a lot of running around to level your rig. Mine is a 03 and haven't had a issue just doing the outside. I use the Anderson levelers and let the wife read the level.It's spot on every time. In the past 3 years I have owned this rig I have leveled it more than 100 times.
