Dometic 9100 Automatic Awning

I had a Dometic 9100 Automatic Awning installed about 3 years ago. It is really great. But now it appears to be slightly out of alignment when it closes. The top of each support will not completely close around the channel mounted on the side of the Monty. I am guessing the mounting screws have loosened a bit and it move just a fraction to cause this. The bottom of the channel fits nicely over the channel. It still locks and travels well. Any suggestions?

That often happens over time when awnings are tied down. We have experienced the same thing, I would simply get on a ladder and physically push the arms in place. Cheap solution. Starting in 2015, no more awning tie downs for us. Certainly the mounting screws could be a contributor, and you do not want them loose, as it will get worse.

I agree--no tie downs. We only put out the awning if we are home. IF we leave, it goes IN. Thanks for hint!

Your fabric might have moved a little bit on the roller. You might try adjusting.

Here is a video on how to do it. It shows a manual awning but the principal is the same.
