Any 330RKBS out there?

Wondering if anyone owned a Mountaineer 330RKBS. Seems a great majority here have 5Ws vice towable. I just moved up to an 06 Mountaineer 330 and really like it.

I may be the only 330RKBS owner - but this site is still very informative. Think I'll stay around. Will be taking the Mountaineer on its shake down cruise this coming weekend.
Happy trails to all....

TKO,

By all means, Stick around. They are all made by Keystone and in most cases what goes for one goes for the other.
There is lots of Mountaineer members on this forum. Probably all out camping this last week of Summer. Well before school starts in our area anyway's. Postings are a little slow this time of year.
By the way welcome to the Forum....

J&D,

I plan to hang around. Wouldn't give up this kind of knowledge for anything. I really like reading and learning from all of the more experienced users. Have a great week.

TKO you have just purchased a great model. We have had ours only a month and love it. I couldn't purchase it new but got a great deal. The only problems I have had(most members have this problem) is the sensors in the holding tanks. The trailer pulls great. I have an older chevy 1 ton and it does well. If you are in a warmer climate you might keep a little fan inside because it seems all of the cold air goes to the bedroom in mine but I can't complain about anything. Great model.
Have fun on your chase!

P.S. Keep me posted on how things go. I am also a weatehr chaser.

Thanks Okie Guy.

Will let you know. I don't really chase storms just happen to be following Earnesto on our way to North Carolina for the weekend. Ya gotta have it together if you run around chasing things like tornados!

Tko,

Welcome aboard.

We have the 335RLBS similar in many ways. Something I had to add was due to the placement of the Thermostat. Ours and maybe yours is mounted on the same wall as the TV compartment. The heat from the TV was warming up the wall and having an affect on its ability to do its job.

I removed the TV and added 1" styrofoam to the right inside of the TV Cab. Now the wall stays cooler.

Check out my pics at www.msnusers.com/azstar Click on "Pictures" at upper left or bottom right of first page. There are 3 pages of slides with upgrades we did.

Again Welcome and Happy Camping
