Born in '45, so yeah, I remember all those. That was great. I wish times were as simple as they were back then. At least they were in small town Texas.

My Dad was a door to door laundry delivery man. We didn't own a car. Dad got permission for us to use his co van tho to the drive in movies. We would take our chairs from our table. Mom would make popcorn. What great movie and wonderful memories.

Born in 1939, graduated from high school in 1957. Those with out a doubt were " The good old days ". Hunting most every morning, leaving our rifles and shotguns in the principals office till after school to go hunting again. School ball games Friday and a school dance Friday night. Work at the service station pumping gas or hauling hay. Go to the drag races on Saturday. Let your girl friend wear your class ring on a chain aroud her neck. Change the date on your draft card so you could buy a can of beer. I could go on and on but you raised in the 50's kids know what I am talking about. " THE GOOD OLD DAYS "

I remember the 50's easily. It's the 60's I have trouble with.

Looks like a bunch of us "older" folks on here. I am sorry to say I remembered most of those folks. Got to go sit in my truck and listen to the 50's station now.

This sure brought back great memories. I have often told my grand kids that my generation grew up in the best time of this world. Take a look now. We should play this every morning just to remember how good it was.
Somehow we need to pass some of it on.

(I do have to agree the sixties were a little rougher, some of those memories were a little foggy)

WOW!! I remember just about all of that stuff!! Our generation did have it good -- we just didn't know HOW good until a lot of it was "new and improved"!
