Outer Banks

We are currently staying at Camp Hatteras campgrounds and it is very nice. We are on the sound side and not the ocean side, and we have a million dollar view right out the door!

Oh I envy you! We stay there every fall and this year it can't come soon enough! Normally we stay on the ocean side but this year we may switch as I windsurf and would like to be able to leave my rig set up and tucked under the Montana. What's the weather like? For years, before we got the Montana we'ed go to Avon every spring and fall (April and October) for windsurfing and I just can't break the Outer Banks habit. Can't wait to get a burger at the Top Dog Cafe!

How long are you going to be in the outer banks area? We are heading up to Camp Hatteras in Rodanthe on April 13th and will be there for maybe a week.

We were there last July, Camp Hatteras, Ocean side. Really liked the Banks. we will be going back.
