Winegard Anser First Trip
First experience with the Anser. We were in central Washington State and the first setup was relatively easy. Our location meant a low elevation setting of 19.5 deg. for Sat 72 which is all HD programming. We were withing 300 miles of Spokane but did not get local channels. In our area they are on Sat 110. Not a big problem as we usually out of the area. Used my battery portable jumper as a power supply and it worked great. Brought our Dish 722 from home, you have to first not connect the cable and run a check switch to clear home stored Sats. You select Dish Sat 300 then sat 72 plug it in and it auto finds the sat. Disconnect the power and thats it. I did try using Sat 129 and it was much easier to lock on with 34.5 deg of elevation. If you do want to change Sats you do need to plug the power back in and select the sat in the menu on the tv. Will need to run two cables in order to record/watch on both tuners. Next project. All in all very satisfied.
