Tv tires - lt235/80r17
It's that time again - TV needs tires. Been running Agilis Michelin tires with just over 50k miles. Just over $2k quote. Might be a can of worms but I thought I'd ask.

The Michelin is a great tire. Two other considerations would be a Continental Terrain Contact H/T and the Goodyear Wrangler Workhorse H/T.
PS. - is this a dually? With your quote of $2k I am hoping it is for 6 tires. To me, $2k for 4 appears very expensive

I've been running the Firestone Transforce AT2. I was hesitant when the tire dealer I use suggested these, but am on my second set and they seem to be a good tire with no issues. In your size, anywhere from $200 to $250 per tire.

We just put another set of Michelin tires on the DRW 3500 chevy. Very satisfied with the performance. Previous 3500 had 3 sets on it with only one issue in 2012 when a chunk of tread came off, they replaced both front tires free.
Earlier this year only paid total for 6 $1710.23 at discount tire with road hazard coverage. Shop around...

Well don't keep us in suspense! What flavor did you decide upon?
I put a set of Bridgestone Duravis R500 HD on our steer axle after getting a front end alignment. Never ran those before but are supposedly a commercial tire. We'll see. Drive axle tires were still good.

Agilis Michelin tires - used them once (same set on two trucks) - Discount Tire - rotations included. got almost 50K out of first set. Come look at them at the Rally.

I put Michelin Defenders LTX 245-75-R17E on the truck from Discount Tire because they did not have my OEMs in stock.
I replaced the OEM Michelins at 62k miles. 7000 miles on them so far.

Will definitely check out the Michelins while at the rally.
I assume you folks from your neck of the woods will be heading up via DFW and OKC?
