Small propane bottles?
Where do you all store the little bottles of propane for lantern BBQ, etc. I don't think the storage bay would be good (connected to interior) my front compartment is genset and 4 batteries! Might go ahead and add back reciever to carry small storage bin and freezer. Any thoughts????

I don't have any issue putting them in the storage compartment after I disconnect them from the BBQ, lantern, etc. I've never had one leak.
If you are worried about it, perhaps you could figure out a way to store them where your big propane bottles are already located. Those compartments are vented.

big box stores like SAMs buys them by the pallet load and stores them inside the store, but any store that does the BBQ size exchange program stores them outside. A pallet load of the small bottles is probable equal in volume to the big bottles stored outside. My guess is that the small bottles have a much less chance of leaking then the big bottles. I store several in my storage bay.
P.S. My front compartment which holds the batteries is not sealed from the propane bottles which sit adjacent.

We run our BBQ off the coach propane tanks. One less thing to carry. Have never heard of anyone ever having a problem storing them in outside storage compartments.

I carry mine in front Gen Compartment - propane is heavier than air, my floor has all kinds of slots around it - makes me feel comfortable, Grills are stored there as well

Thanx everybody, will probably just store them in the storage bay. Agreed in all the many years of using them I have only had one start leaking, and it was sitting in the direct sun on a hot day!!! I seriously doubt the bay ever gets that hot.
