Hanging the rear end over a retaining wall

I've almost completed the addition of my new RV pad next to my home. I had to have a retaining wall built because of the downward slope of my property. In the future, I'd also like to store my utility trailer on the pad in front of the Montana when I'm not using it. Do you think there would be any long term issues hanging the rear end of the Montana over the edge of the retaining wall?I wouldn't go further back then the rear jacks (4 point system). The wall is 6 feet, engineered and consists of large natural rocks with plenty of drainage. The surface is gravel. Thanks.

If you don't scrape the fresh water tank drain off you shouldn't have any issues.

No different then not hanging over the wall. If all four tires are on the ground it's just like it is when driving down the road or parked anywhere. Maybe I'm missing something here

I see harm. Was the retaining wall designed for a surcharge load from a vehicle? It's worth checking with your engineer who designed the wall to verify. Rock walls aren't the most reliable retaining wall systems out there.

The materials are medium and large boulders for the wall. I'll ask, though.

I've been doing just that for years. This pad was originally built in 1999 for a 19 foot TT, extended later for a 35 foot 5er then another expansion for the current 5er. It's built with 40 year ground contact 6x6 treated wood and spiked together with 10-12 inch spikes plus rebar driven at least 4 feet into the ground. It also has drainage piping and is filled with at least 10+ cu yards of crushed stone. The 5er is usually back a foot or two from where that photo shows. I can almost at 6'4" tall, walk under the rear end witout bending over (That $$ ADCO cover shown - bit the dust the first winter )

The rear end of your camper is always just hanging there no matter if it’s 3 feet or 300 feet to the ground, makes no difference.

It does make difference. A vehicle load located adjacent to retaining structure in most cases is equivalent to a couple feet of additional fill on the wall. If it's 3 feet, you likely won't have any issues. At 6 feet, it matters and is worth checking.

Ok, now I see what I was missing you are referring to harm to the wall not to the trailer. Makes much more sense. So this has really nothing to do with your trailer, but it's a question of how much weight your wall can support. That is a question for the man who engineered it.

I thought the same at first. Was thinking to myself surely this guy can't be serious. Then it hit me, he's asking about the wall.

If I'm that guy, I was pretty clear on both my posts I was referring to the retaining wall and not the trailer over hanging being the concern.

No. I was referring to when I first read the original post yesterday.
It didn't register in my pea brain at first, the guy was asking about the wall
and not the trailer. It was all on me. Not the original poster or anyone else.

Yes, I'm concerned about the wall. Sorry to not clear that up. I think I'll just keep it centered on the pad for now.
