Washer Dryer Stackables

Any suggestions on best washers and dryers to purchase for my Montana 3701LK.

We've had three Splendides, all worked flawlessly. The separate washer and dryer worked better than the single unit.

I agree with the previous post. We have the Splendide units and they are awesome. My understanding is the combined washer and dryer unit takes forever to dry.

We have a Splendide combo and, yes, it takes a little longer to dry, but it's not bad. I like it because we have the best of both worlds. The washer/dryer and we still have a lot of storage above it.

We have a Whirlpool set. The dryer does a great job, the washer is a continual PITA! The Whirlpool washers are notorious for not wanting to start, typically a door switch problem, but can also be a control board problem.

Based on our Whirlpool experience and others’ Splendide experience I would recommend the Splendide 10x over the Whirlpool. I’m sure some people have had problems with the Splendide, but overall they are more reliable.

We just had eh Slendide stackables installed with a drip pan. Haven;t got to use them yet. Like how they fit.

I am considering either Combo or separate units but how much can you fit in the combo unit and how long does it take to wash dry?

Anyone with the separate units how much can you fit in these tiny little units? Wondering if it is worth the expense and weight for non full timing

The manuals and user guides are available for both models online. There is a guide for how much you should load each type. I own the separates but I don't think there is a difference in the load capacity.They both take longer to process a load of laundry than household appliances. The separates allow us to run another washer load while the dryer is running. The combo will obviously be tied up for the duration of both cycles. A lot of folks here love their combos. We are about to go FT but as a weekend warrior I never felt the need for either. Just my .02.

We are not FT but often go 2 weeks to 3 months. The combo is a one and NEVER again deal. I'd go to a laundromat in a ghetto 1st. Now have the Splendide Ariston separates. Total weight just over 200# and not noticed at all. As for $$$ think convenience and like your bed, what was in it before you?

had 2 maytags in the past, both junk, replaced with splendide artisan separates, the 1st maytag was a combo, it took way too long

Have Splendite 2 piece stackable. Love them. Had drain problem Not Splendite but HEPVo valve. Leaked under the overhang No water inside

The brand that came with our rig when ordered is Pinnacle, we have been on the road for 8 months now with no issues.

We are not FTers but have the Splendide stackables installed-love the convenience and don't miss the storage space taken by the two units. Very quiet units. We went with separate w/d rather than one unit based on other forums where the folks wished they didn't do the single unit. No problems or issues since installed. Good luck in your purchase.

Ok so it seems the Splendide Stackable Washer and Dryer is the way to go buy where is the best place to get them and what models is everyone using? I see them at RV places and a bunch on Amazon just not sure which ones are best.

Everyone tells me to get the vented dryer but I guess I have to drill a hole in my RV for venting the dryer.

to run the washer, one must be hooked to a city/ well water supply?
or can it be done using onboard water supply

sure sounds great as one never knows what went through that washer befor your load. i have seen small garages bring in the gas and oil soaked rags and wash them

but if i were to do this. might just buy a washer. line dry everything.

We do not have the Splendide Stackable Washer and Dryer or any other brand stackable. We have the splendide combo and it serves us well.. IMO the stackable is the best way to go IF you have the room or can spare the room. We are long timers and every inch of space is a valuable asset.

The dryer weighs about 100#, not noticed on the typical 5er. Many CGs do not permit drying clothes outside. We usually wash 2 - 3 loads at a time, not sure where we would hang that much to dry. Besides, rain days often become wash days.

great way to get a fresh rinse.
but then i am not a park hopper. i like open country, (and i am cheap). so no problems hanging clothing out there.
just me so might even be able to get by with a bucket wash, every other week?... or three��
