$1.65 and still falling!

The pump price for regular gas just dropped to $1.65 a gallon! I never thought that I would be seeing that price again! I'm just enjoying it WHILE IT LASTS (I'm sure it won't be there that long).

$2.51 for diesel this morning. I never thought we would see regular gas under $2.00 again. Is it possible we will see diesel under $2.00?

I think it was about four years ago that it was hovering around $1.60/GAL. If I remember correctly as it started going up everyone seemed to be complaining about the price. I don’t think we’re complaining as much right now. I do hope it stays this way for a while. I also remember for years how that diesel fuel was always less than the cost of gas; now I own a diesel, hmmm. Something wrong with this picture but I’ll probably keep it for a while anyway!

Here in my home town gas is $.785 / liter or $2.97 per U.S. gallon.
Diesel is selling for $.989 / liter or $3.74 per U.S. gallon. Boy are they raping us here in Canada.

More people gripe about the price of gas than diesel. The refiners let the price of gas fall and make up the difference on the diesel. I keep the pressure up on my elected officials on the diesel price but they always seem to be off for some holiday, or send me some wierd internet response. I am in Sant Paul, MN. for the holiday. Gas is $1.57 Diesel $2.62.

Au contraire, in Ontario, we have had truckers driving their trucks down to the Legislature en masse and blocking traffic for hours over the price of diesel. Much louder and and more numerous than the non-throngs of RV'ers.

bbl of oil took a crap again, under 50.00 and still not bottomed out. .OPEC is having no effect on the price. If folks do not have the dollars to buy fuel or anything for that matter it makes no difference how much it cost. Saudi Arabia for example has but one product to sell..Oil..they have got to sell it at any price. The more we demand the higher the price... Haven't been out today but gas was around Disney was still in the mid 1.70's

Granbury, TX on 12/28, unleaded is 1.439 and diesel is 2.299 at the cheapest locations. I still don't understand why such a big difference.
