It's not exclusive to Montana either, as it seems to be standard for the industry. Two of mine have already broke. The fix I used given advice from the MOC is a standard 3" outdoor door hinge. The hinge gets installed in place of the cracked plastic and serves as the new pivot point. Welcome to the forum!
