New member - 3150RL

Hello, new member. been lurking and learning for awhile. Retiring in a few months and picking up a new to us 2011 Montana 3150RL in a coupe of weeks. Planning on some renovations and upgrades. Signed up for the Spring Rally in CD'L in June as our first big trip. keeping are fingers crossed that we don't have too many issues with a used trailer.

Welcome to the group. Usually all the issues have been weeded out by then, but there will still be things that need attention like new tires if they are three years old. Enjoy the experience.

Thanks, looks like the date code on the Hercules tires is 1815, so will be replacing the tires before we take it out of town. Brakes & bearings look good. Having a splendid washer & 2nd AC and slide awnings installed. Downloaded the PDI checklist from the forum to use when we pick up in a couple of weeks. Any info on specific issues to be on the lookout for would be appreciated.

Download the lippert app MyLCI from Google play store. Lots of good info at your fingertips. Manuals, help, how to, troubleshooting, TSB etc..

Congrats Joe and Rita !
We did the exact same thing a year ago (model & year). First thing we changed, based on advice from posters on this forum, was to swap in a 80 amp circuit breaker for the hydraulic leveling system pump. It's a quick, inexpensive fix. The other was to install an electric black tank valve, rather than swapping in a better cable-operated valve. The rest of the items have been personal taste items. Enjoy the rig, and check this site whenever you need some good information - it's a terrific site !
