I have the Smart Light also. Works as directions. We are happy with ours. Fits where old light was.

I also should add,I have the 3400RL and with the main slide out it might be blocking one of the sensors.

I doubt that anyone can answer this but me and to get an answer I’ll probably have to simply try a new light but the present amber light I now have is located on the left side above the door. The awning arm looks as though it touches the edge of the lens when closed up. I’m wondering if a new sensor light would mount in the same location with the awning so close to it without being a problem. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Bill, As I recall, when I installed mine I had to move it over a tad to keep the awning arm from hitting it. It still hits just the edge but the arm does go all the way up. It doesn't take much to put in new screw holes to move it over a tad.
