to Canada and back with pets

We are hoping to travel to Toronto to see relatives this summer. We are traveling with 1 beagle and 2 kitties. Can anyone tell us if we will be allowed to bring the animals into Canada? and more importantly...can we bring them back into the US?

Make sure their shots are up to date and you should have no trouble.

Yes, make sure their vaccinations are up to date, but you must also have a copy of the vaccination certificate from the Vet. Most border crossings will want to see the vaccination certificate paperwork. If you don't have the paperwork, and they don't believe you they may insist on vaccinating them again at the border.

As stated above you need to have proof of vaccinations and don't forget your passports

Send a message via MSN to KathyandDave
Joanie and Dave, we live a bit northwest of Toronto and know the area reasonably well. If you need help or advice on campgrounds, please PM. btw, no firearms allowed across the border!
