coaxial 2nd connection adding

We have an '06 2980RL and I want to add another coaxial connection so I can have two "satellite in" connections. Also, I would like to know how to watch cable tv on a different set at the same time? My biggest question is how do I feed the cable in without tearing up the side of the coach?

Thanks, Travelbum

You could mount the connection where your water controls are loated. Depending on where you want the cable to go, you could then run it through the basement, heating duct, belly pan, etc.

Most of our connections on the older models (mine in a 2007 3400, I am not familiar with your model) allow for the watching of seperate shows on cable, but you do need another connection or fancy switches to allow for the watching of seperate shows on satellite (this differs for Directv and Dish as well). If you have the jumper connection in the cabinet like ours (above the TV), the jumper must be connected at the top, the bottom connects to the TV or DVD and the antenna switch booster must be off near the bedroom TV. This may sound complicated, but without knowing whether you are talking cable or satellite hookups, it is hard to describe what to do.

I had another fitting put in the convenience center and ran the cable across the storage area then came up under the dresser across to the washer cupboard into the TV cabinet to the satellite receiver.
