Just remember...this is not a little surgery...Healing and recovery will take time and lots of patience. I just have to take it one day at a time and sometimes, Tom has to remind me of the "little" steps of progress I am making on a daily basis. It has been five months since my surgery and I am not use to taking time for ME. Kathy, accept all the help you can get from others, get lots of rest, and don't be afraid to ask for help. God is awesome, but sometimes we need help from others here on earth to get through the healing days. Our prayers will continue for a full recovery.

Our prayers are with you and your wife for a speedy recovery. About 5 years ago my mom in her mid 70's went from the Dr's office for a headache right to a hospital in a larger town capable of handling brain surgery. A benign tumor was taken out and off of her brain stem and follow up had to be done with the Gamma Knife. Withinn 3 months she was back out on the golf course and to this day weather permitting plays golf every day. We hope for the same recovery for Kathy. You are in our prayers.

Good to hear Kathy does not have cancer and will recover. Our neighbor (44 years old) goes in for the same surgery on Jan 4th.

As an update, Kathy returned home yesterday and is doing very well. Her one eye lid is not working yet but that is suppose to change. She does continue to get headaches but they are improving too. Otherwise it is a matter of time. As Joyce has pointed out this will not be an over night thing but a process that has to take its course. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement.
