inside door latch handle 2005 mountaineer

The paddle you pull when exiting my unit broke , they wont sell the handle anywhere i asked they want me to spend 40 dollars for the whole lock mechanism , does anyone have a used one from replacing their lick mechanism or have one lying arround .

The way I see it is if something caused the lever to break then there must be something wrong and binding the lock. So, I would spend $40 to get a new lock that is not binding.

We had the same issue with our handle. I ordered a new chrome plated assembly. We like it much better than the old flat black one. I think I bought it on Ebay.
