Bob, I am so sorry to hear of Karen's problems but am glad you caught it before it was too late. You both will be in our prayers and thoughts.
If you tell the park your reason for cancelling they may make an exception and refund your deposit. When we lost my father I had to cancel out of a planned month stay and we'd already been there nine nights. Their policy is no refund but not only did they graciously refund our payment but they prorated the nine days at the monthly rate.

Thanks again to everyone for thier good wishes. We are meeting with the surgeon tomorrow to discuss the pros and cons of the procedure. If we decide it is best, the surgery will be on Monday followed by 6-10 days in the hospital and a 6 week home recovery. As I told the family, when we know more, we will share it. Bob

Hi all, This has been one looooong week. Karens lung just wouldn't seal itself so the surgeon is going to work on it tomorrow afternoon. Then comes another 6-10 days in the hospital followed by 6 weeks at home. She should be pretty well back on her feet and restriction free (90%) after 3 weeks at home. We have both benefitted from your wishes and prayers, please keep them coming and include Dr. Sameuls (the surgeon, he mentions Gods help in most conversations). Bob

Many surgeons believe in prayer before surgery. Glad you have one... Our prayers continue.
