I'm just not getting it

I know the MOC has always run heavy on real life opinions by full and long timers, but there has to be a bunch of us that aren't. After going to a couple of RV shows recently I'm a bit puzzled by the majority of floor plans currently out in the $50,000+ price range. There is little usable counter space, limited storage for pots - pans - dishes - drink glasses - appliances ____________ BUT bye Ned there is a 30 cubic foot bottom freezer residential fridge in near every one?????????? Yeah, I know some of you would trade your first born before going without one of these refrigeration giants. For the rest of us unless dropping down to a lower price level RV ... why must we sacrifice counter and storage space to satisfy what's trendy?
