Rippling in slide out skirting
Has anyone here had trouble with their skirting having rippling on the skirting of their slide outs?

Don't think it hurts anything, but common to see.

I see that we have at least a few experiencing the same thing??? I really find this not acceptable. After spending this kind of money this shouldn't happen. I'm thinking that keystone will not fix this?

I would think that it is a result of the two completely different materials that are used and their different properties. The bottom skirting will react differently to temperature changes (expansion and contraction rates) as well as other factors. Not sure how Keystone would even attempt to remedy it since the replacement material will be the same and will react the same way. Just my opinion and reasoning abilities applied to a common malady, just not sure if it can be remedied.

Loyd, they could have done a better job with this, but I doubt you will get them to repair or replace it. Trust me, there will be many other things pop up that need fixing with a higher priority. It is still a beauty.

It's not as noticeable on the whites as it is on the paints, but there all the same.

I noticed my skirts ripple after a screw(s) fell out that keep the plastic wheel trim in place. If you look underneath and inside the wheel well, you will notice that one of the screws attaches to a stabilizing metal brace. I think traveling at 65 mph, the skirt will flex and waver in the wind without the brace securing it.
