Quartzsite Circle
Help needed ASAP! We arrived today to secure our "Circle" area and found 376 units of Escapee Xcapers group have taken our spot, as well as the Alpine group and everyone elses. We grabbed a fairly large area against the northern boundary just north of the old circle. We need folks here tomorrow to help hold the area, as more Xscapers are trying to expand their area. We need units here as soon as possible. The "Circle" is built as well as possible, but that might not hold it . We spent all afternoon shooing folks off.

Curtis your circle is going to be fine. Right now you have 3 in the circle and if a couple more show up people will understand that area is our homestead..

Waiting for a couple more to show up today. We should be fine when that happens.
Thanks to the Ambuels and Bischoffs for help in figuring this out yesterday.

DW and I would LOVE to be there, but.... something about a damn job. (3 more yrs) prevents it. W did it for 5yrs but it was temp and we knew it. But we are getting ready. We already live in the 5r full-time, just can’t roll yet. Did I mention winter in Idaho sucks? Boy do we miss Yuma!

As the Circle is a loosely organized event this year, there hasn't been a lot of group activities. There was an impromptu potluck and a small group ventured together out to the Desert Bar. But if you want to see pictures, here are a few taken by a member's drone.

This is awesome. We are counting down the final few months to retirement. Hopefully we can join in next winter. Assuming of course, newbies are welcome.

Quartzite Circling of the Wagons
It's a very welcoming group. If you are planning on Quartzsite then consider the Winter Blast Pyrotechnic Show in Lake Havasau City, AZ that is going on now. We have a Montana group that attends every year. It sells out early so when reservations are announced, book right away.

When we bought our Bluebird Wanderlodge we went straight to quartzite and it was a blast! Fantastically warm welcome from any and all! Can’t wait to do the Montana wagon thing with ya’all. Besides, we are all newbies at heart!
