Newbie looking to purchase

Hi all,
We are considering purchasing our first RV to live in full time. We are currently looking at a 2006 keystone Montana 3790RD. It is a private owner. It is in excellent condition. Do you recommend having an inspection done first or can we just have the owner go through a mandatory list to see if things are in working order? Any pros and cons to this model that we should be looking for? Thank you so much and advance we’re going to see you in a few hours.
