Overhead Glass Cabinet Doors
The film behind the glass on all our overhead cabinet doors
is bubbling. Has anyone else had this problem ?

I had this problem and the dealer ordered me a couple of new ones while the unit was under warranty. The new glass did not have the film on the back. I think they were tempered. The old glass need the film because they were not tempered.
If any more door glass bubbles appear bad enough I will try to use a pin and get the air out of the bubble. Then maybe shoot a little glue in under the bubble if I need too. I don,t think I want to remove the film because if something in the cabinets hits the glass hard enough they may shatter pieces all over.

All overhead glass is bubbling. The bubbles are large (1/2" x 3").

If your problem is not covered under warranty you might check with the dealer and see how much new glass would cost you.
Another thing I was considering was to peel all the film off and apply auto window tinting film. I wanted a darker color like I saw in SOB 5th wheel. If you do an internet search for window tinting film you will come up with all kinds of places to order from.

We have had it 1 year and 7 month. Last year our Montana spent 78 days at our dealer and we got it back in
worse shape than when we gave it to them. I will never talk to the dealer again. I might try Montana Factory service.

If you were in our area I would suggest checking with a local glass shop. They can replace the glass probably at a better rate than what a dealer could IMHO; especially if you can change the glass your self.

We are having the same problem but are not doing anything about it at this point...like you it is a 2007 3400. We are looking a painting the back of the glass with white or frosted look.

We also have the same problem. At the fall rally last year we showed keystone the glass and they asked for the measurement's of all the glass in the cabinet's, and will be changing it for us this year when we go to the rally. They are a great bunch of guy's to deal with.

I can see we cedrtainly were'nt the only ones in the west that had this problem. Ours started with a few doors, but had them all replaced. Our warranty was nearly up, so that was a good thing.

Early last year, our 2007 Montana Mountaineer Edition 336RLT did the same thing, but only on 3 doors. Keystone was only going to replace the defective ones, but I insisted they ALL be replaced, because if a few did it, then I figured that, in time, the rest would do it too. Without argument, Keystone did replace all 12 of the cabinet doors under warranty. One of the bubbles was about 4" long and about 2" wide...the other 2 were smaller than a dime. Now that we're out of warranty, the dealership said if it happened again, to gently heat the film with a hair dryer on low heat and slowly smooth the film back in place with your fingers. Whether that would work or not I don't know. So far, since the doors have been replaced, there are no signs bubbling.
I don't know if this is true or not, but our dealership said Keystone has had on ongoing problem with the film bubbling.

Our are on every door but one.I think they are way to large to do with a hair dryer.

I should have mentioned that our glass doors were replaced with the new tempered glass without the plastic backing. All under warranty and tinted. Keystone paid. We're happy.

Every one of ours bubbled, too. The dealer was too lazy to do anything about it, but Keystone replaced them last year at the rally. They didn't have the glass is stock & ours were so bad they ordered the glass & sent it to us. We installed it ourself. I think I have heard they are going to all wood doors now, but don't remember who told me.
