heated holding tanks

How do I know if my Keystone Montana has heated tanks, and if so how do you turn them on?

It would really help a lot if everybody knew what rig you have, model, year, etc. Can't even take a wild guess to come up with an answer.

Had the same issue in my bathroom sink a week ago. Posted on here about it and was told if i have a washer hook up,was told to hook a hose to it the hot and cold and turn them on to flush those lines out for a few minutes. So i did and that solved the issue. If that is what you find out is your issue and don't have a washer hooked up ,like me you are going to either have to cap those two lines off or install shut of valves on the two washer lines to keep water out of them or it will happen again at a later date. The water in those lines go bad a smell really bad. And yes what rohrmann just said, what year and model would be helpful for those with your model.

How long have you had your camper and has it happen before. Had my since last year and only used it 6 times before i winterized it. This year i have a seasonal spot since April and my smell started two weeks ago and i did what i was told to try first from a couple people on this form and it worked for me. Do you have a washer machine set up? if so i would try what i did to solve the smell issue. Also check to see if you have a screw in air valve under your sink like i have under the kitchen sink which some have suggested to look for also which can give off a smell if the rubber seal is not sealing tight.

A 2009 does NOT have heated tanks per se. The furnace has a duct which delivers warm air to the area where the tanks reside.
