Hi all. We are excited about transitioning from a 20' Mallard trailer to a new 3791RD. The rig was ordered about 8 weeks ago and we are looking forward to our "walk through" at the dealer next Thursday. Our first night in the new unit will be on May 1. Can't wait!!

Looking forward to participating in this forum - I'm sure that the experience here will be very helpful to a new 5th wheel/Montana owner and very much appreciated!

Welcome to the forum! On the home page you can find some PDI outlines to help with that walk thru. Better to slow the dealer down and make sure everything is working correctly and you understand how they work at that time than later. There are a few more bells and whistles in these things.

Thanks a lot for the PDI suggestion. I didn't realize that there was such a thing. The checklist will be a big help. Thanks again!

Welcome to the forum and all the best with your new rig. Picked ours up last weekend. Really like all the space and features. I can get up..make coffee watch tv and the DW hears and feels nothing. .no noise or shaking. DW is away this week but took the new rig out anyway for this weekend ...just the dog and me.

Note of caution...make sure the lower door near the fridge under the sofa is closed when opening slide. Open slide a bit then go chk. Same for upper and lower cabinet doors in den. Last weekend, on first night out, we broke the door by the fridge with the fridge slide. New door plus hinges on order... $125 lesson. Felt sick and ****** at the same time. DW and I discussed hydrolic slide and symptom of resistance to slide but we screwed up anyway. No permanent damage...just the door and bent hinges.

Am seriously considering replacing door clasps. Doors open much too easily while traveling.

Welcome to the MOC. We used to live in Frankfort, Illinois. You won't have far to go to the annual Goshen rally in September.
